Seven teachers in California's Ventura County have been awarded $1,000 grants to use in their classrooms.
The IMPACT II grantsfunded by the Amgen Foundation, Corwin2024, and the Ventura County Office of Educationare designed to promote "unique and creative teaching practices," according to a press release.
The winners will use the money to develop lesson plans for a variety of subject matters, including history and science, the Los Angeles Times reports.
